CUTE Food - Veggie Easter Bunny

I'm just coming up with a veggie platter I want to do for a get together and I remembered the Veggie Easter Bunny I did last year. I had so much fun making it and it was really easy, compared to some of the other veggie platters I've done.

CREEPY Food - My Halloween Skull and Scary Lasagnas

We had a little going away party, yesterday, for one of our best friends. In face he is probably the person who I used to write about most on this blog, besides my own family. It is sad when your bestie leaves you, but it makes it a little more fun to "scare him away!" since he is leaving right before Halloween.

I had pre-made a couple lasagnas, especially for Halloween, so this was the perfect reason to throw them in the oven! They are SCAAAAARRRY lasagnas. Made of peeeeeeople!!!!

Here is the lasagnas when we made them a couple weeks ago, prior to freezing. We ate the voodoo guy on the right, right away...

Halloween Skull Veggie Platter

I had been thinking about doing a skull out of veggies for Halloween. When one of my favorite friends was throwing a Halloween party, I figured that was my cue! I got to work on a colorful and creepy veggie platter to celebrate Halloween.

Halloween Lasagna - Voodoo Doll

I tried 3 different designs, and so far, I've cooked the first one.

I froze the other two and I'm going to use them for a going away dinner I am having for a friend right before Halloween. They may make him go away for good!!!

Halloween Black Widow Spider Hors d'Oeuvres and Pumpkin Cheese Ball Appetizers

I was feeling a little crafty with food, the other night, when we had some friends over for dinner and I had a giant bag of olives from Costco. I wanted to make something Halloween-ish but everything I found on Pinterest was desserts and baked goods. 

What about something savory? 

Well, I did it! I made savory hors d'oeuvres that look like Black Widows and little pumpkins out of cream cheese.
