Brickshelf Back Up!!! - for now...

Grab your pics and run, folks, Brickshelf.com is back up until the end of July! No word on what the situation might be and all the speculation in my previous post is just my mind running wild...

There are so many pics that are important to me... I love all the old LEGOLAND one's from the days before I was there. There are so many inspirational designs on there and it is such a simple and functional site... but I digress again...

Enjoy it while it's there & be happy it was in our lives:
The message on their site says:
Notice: Brickshelf will be shutting down on 2007/07/31.
Please save your files to your computer.

(I still have hope!)

No More Brickshelf?

I'm really sad right now... One of my most favoritest websites in the world is no more. Why? Noone has answers, yet...

Is it a hack? A power play? Has the webmaster lost it? Maybe it is a lawsuit, or blackmail or slap in the face to the abusers of all the free picture posting space... 'that's what you get for being cheap!' - Or a LESSON for everyone to learn the hard way to back up your pics at home! Ouch.

What an unusual ending for such a popular fansite. Sorry for all my broken links in the posts of the past.

Goodbye www.brickshelf.com - you will be missed.

Brick Star's Pick

This is my favorite new brickshelf album... I love MisaQa's stuff, but she just did all these Miniland style figures in period dress... They are gorgeous!

Enjoy!
