Papercutz has put out another fun and exciting graphic novel in their LEGO Ninjago series. I got the opportunity to check out book number 4, "Tomb of the Fangpyre". Even though these books seem to be geared toward children who are a little older, I grabbed my 9 month old, who loves books, and took a look through.
We were impressed by the bright, shiny and colorful hard cover and pages. The story is exciting with graphics to illustrate the dialogue between the LEGO Minifig characters. We loved the artwork and the adventure depicted in this story.
This book is a lot of fun to read. My son was mesmermized by the artwork. He doesn't yet have the patience to go through all the dialogue, but he really paid attention to all the colorful drawings. I guess that is why they call this a book for all ages!
Also, even though this is book number 4, the book stands on its own and is fine to read without reading any of the other books. We'll see if my little guy wants me to buy him the rest of the series or not when he is a little older.
